THE OWNERS
We're Liz, Jessica, and Lisa ... three moms and long-time residents of Leland, NC, who founded KinderStop out of our own desire for high quality, flexible child care in the greater Leland community. Between the three of us, we are mothers to 8 young children, so we know how challenging it can be to balance the ever-changing demands of work, school, family, and home. When things got crazy, we needed flexible, on-demand child care that worked with our schedule and without the need for long-term commitments or advance notice. And while we were at it, we wanted our kids to actually have FUN in a safe, clean, and engaging environment ... one they'd want to come back to again and again. So, after 18 months of prayer, careful planning, and waiting for the right location, we opened our first KinderStop drop-in child care facility in January 2019 at The Villages of Waterford (Leland, NC). We've worked tirelessly to make it the best it can be for your kids - and for ours, too! We hope you enjoy!
OUR PASSION
At KinderStop, our passion is to provide a safe, clean, imaginative, and engaging environment for children while affording their parents, families, or guardians a much-needed break. We want all children to feel safe and welcome in our facility and - most importantly - to have a positive, nurturing experience with each visit.
We have a special place in our heart for children with sensory challenges and their families. That's why we're the first drop-in child care facility in the Wilmington region to offer specific accommodations and specially trained staff to address the needs of children in our community with sensory and behavioral challenges.
OUR STAFF
We think you'll agree that we have the kindest, most professional staff in the industry. Not only do they love kids, but each employee has been carefully vetted through a series of background checks and drug screenings. Additionally, all employees are first aid/CPR certified and have received specialized training in behavioral management strategies.

We've put a lot of love into creating a bright, clean, and imaginative space at our facility in Leland, NC. We're conveniently located in the Villages of Waterford at 511 Olde Waterford Way, Ste. 106. You can't miss us!
